Service Policies
Clarity From the Beginning
The Weaver Standard Corp. believes professional service begins with clear expectations. These Service Policies explain our cleaning standards, scheduling procedures, pricing practices, payment terms, safety requirements, privacy practices and the responsibilities associated with residential and commercial cleaning services.
Our objective is not to bury our clients in fine print. It is to establish a transparent framework so that our clients and cleaning teams understand what to expect before service begins.
Residential recurring service is not a fixed-term service contract. Clients may discontinue recurring cleaning at any time without an early-termination fee or obligation to purchase future cleanings. Policies concerning cancellations, rescheduling, completed work or outstanding balances apply only where applicable to those specific circumstances.
At a Glance
Flexible Service
Recurring residential clients may discontinue service at any time. There is no long-term commitment or early-termination fee.
Fair Pricing
Pricing reflects the agreed scope. Material changes may result in a fair adjustment upward or downward.
Flexible Payment
Clients may receive an invoice/payment link or separately authorize an eligible payment method to be securely maintained.
Service Assurance
Material cleaning concerns should be reported within 24 hours so we can evaluate and, when appropriate, correct the affected area.
Pets Welcome
Pets may remain in the property when safe. Animals who are aggressive, highly anxious or escape-prone should be secured.
Additional Services
Appliance interiors, dishes, linens, animal-waste sanitation and other approved services may be added when requested.
Safety First
Hazardous, biohazardous, structurally unsafe or otherwise dangerous conditions may require separate assessment.
Clear Scope
The scope of work is established at the onset so both the client and cleaning team understand what the service includes.
Client Service Policies & Terms of Service
General policies governing residential and commercial service, scheduling, property access, cleaning teams, pets, safety and client responsibilities.
No Long-Term Commitment
Residential recurring service is not a fixed-term service contract. A client may discontinue recurring cleaning at any time without an early-termination fee and without any obligation to purchase future cleanings.
Cancellation or rescheduling charges, when applicable, relate only to individual appointments already scheduled and are not penalties for ending recurring service.
Estimates & Pricing
Pricing is based on information reasonably available when an estimate is prepared, including property size, room count, condition, service frequency, occupancy, photographs, walkthroughs, client descriptions, accessibility, requested tasks and anticipated labor.
Unless expressly identified as fixed, an estimate assumes actual conditions substantially match the information provided.
Scope of Work & Fair Price Adjustments
The scope of work is agreed upon at the onset of service. If actual conditions or requested work materially differ from the information used to establish the service, The Weaver Standard may reevaluate the scope and price.
Adjustments may be made upward or downward so that pricing fairly reflects the work actually required. Material additions should be authorized by the client whenever reasonably practicable before additional work is performed.
First-Time & Recurring Service
A first-time or Initial Reset cleaning generally requires additional time and detail to establish a maintainable baseline. Recurring pricing assumes the agreed service frequency and a reasonably maintained condition.
Extended gaps, repeated skipped visits, events, construction, occupancy changes, new pets or unusual buildup may require a revised scope or price.
Scheduling & Arrival Windows
Appointments are generally scheduled using arrival windows rather than exact guaranteed arrival times. Traffic, weather, previous appointments, staffing, access conditions and unforeseen property conditions may affect arrival.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.
Schedule Changes & Team Substitutions
The Weaver Standard may adjust routes, teams or appointment times when operationally necessary. We value continuity and make reasonable efforts to provide consistent personnel; however, a specific cleaner or cleaning team is not guaranteed.
Qualified substitutions may be made. Only authorized management may approve permanent scheduling, pricing, discount, credit, payment-arrangement or material scope changes.
Inclement Weather & Emergencies
The Weaver Standard may postpone, shorten, reschedule or cancel service when weather, road conditions, public emergencies, illness, utility failures or other circumstances make travel or service unsafe or impractical.
Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee when The Weaver Standard cancels service for these reasons.
Property Access, Keys, Codes & Alarms
Clients are responsible for providing safe and reliable access at the scheduled time. Keys, access cards, gate codes, lockbox information, alarm instructions, concierge procedures, parking requirements and restricted-area rules must be accurate and current.
We will exercise reasonable care with access credentials. Clients should promptly notify us when credentials or security procedures change.
Lockouts & Inability to Access
If the team arrives as scheduled but cannot obtain authorized access within a reasonable period, the visit may be treated as a lockout under our Payment, Cancellation, Refund & Dispute Policy. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the client before the team departs.
Cleaning Teams & Professional Conduct
Personnel are expected to act professionally, respect client property and work only within authorized areas.
Clients should direct pricing, scheduling, complaints, contractual questions and material scope changes to management rather than asking cleaning personnel to renegotiate company terms on site.
Direct Hiring & Solicitation of Personnel
Clients are asked not to divert or privately hire current The Weaver Standard personnel to perform substantially similar services outside the company while that individual is actively working with us.
Any restriction or remedy applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not restrict lawful employment rights.
Cleaning Supplies & Equipment
The Weaver Standard ordinarily provides standard professional cleaning supplies and equipment appropriate to the agreed service. Clients should disclose allergies, sensitivities, manufacturer restrictions, specialty surfaces, delicate finishes or prohibited products before service.
Specialty products or equipment may require separate pricing or client provision.
Client-Supplied Cleaning Products
Clients may request the use of a particular product, subject to approval. We may decline products that appear unsafe, unlabeled, expired, improperly diluted, incompatible or unsuitable for the intended surface.
Pets & Animal Safety
Pets may remain in the property when their presence is safe and disclosed. Aggressive, highly anxious, territorial, escape-prone or disruptive animals must be appropriately secured.
We exercise reasonable care around doors and gates; however, the client remains responsible for appropriate containment. Cleaning personnel do not feed, walk, medicate, transport, restrain or supervise pets unless a separate service expressly provides otherwise.
Pet Hair & Animal Waste
Ordinary pet hair may be addressed within the applicable cleaning scope. Animal urine, feces, vomit, concentrated odor, contaminated bedding or similar waste may be serviced as an additional sanitation service when conditions fall within our approved capabilities.
Pricing depends upon severity, affected area, material, labor, sanitation requirements, PPE and disposal. Extensive contamination or conditions presenting a significant biological or occupational hazard may be declined or referred.
Children, Guests & Occupants
Clients are responsible for supervising children, guests and other occupants. Cleaning personnel do not provide childcare, elder supervision or personal care. Occupants should avoid active work areas, wet floors, cords, equipment and cleaning products.
Work-From-Home Clients & Other Contractors
Occupied homes and workplaces are welcome when service can be performed safely and efficiently. Meetings, contractors, movers, maintenance personnel, deliveries or other activity that materially interferes with cleaning may require an adjustment to timing, scope or price.
Valuables, Medications & Sensitive Items
Clients should secure cash, jewelry, medications, negotiable instruments, collectibles, irreplaceable property, confidential materials and unusually fragile items before service.
Existing Damage & Fragile Conditions
Clients should disclose loose fixtures, cracked surfaces, unstable furniture, deteriorated caulk, failing finishes, damaged blinds, unsecured artwork, weakened shelving, peeling coatings and other known pre-existing conditions.
Ordinary cleaning may reveal or worsen latent deterioration that was already present.
Accidental Damage or Breakage
If The Weaver Standard causes accidental damage, the client should notify management promptly and preserve the item and reasonable documentation. We will investigate in good faith and may repair, replace, reimburse or refer the matter to insurance as appropriate.
Firearms, Weapons & Dangerous Items
Firearms, ammunition and dangerous weapons must be securely stored and removed from cleaning surfaces. Personnel will not handle or relocate firearms or ammunition. Service may be suspended when an unsecured weapon creates a safety concern.
Illegal Substances & Hazardous Materials
Personnel will not knowingly handle illegal drugs, suspected contraband, unknown powders, explosive materials, hazardous chemicals or improperly stored dangerous substances. Work may stop when a reasonable safety or legal concern exists.
Ladders, High Areas & Fall Safety
Personnel use only approved step ladders and safe equipment within company procedures. Roofs, high exterior areas, tall ledges, chandeliers and areas requiring unsafe climbing are excluded unless specifically assessed and approved.
Personnel will not stand on furniture, countertops, tubs, railings or improvised platforms.
Heavy Furniture & Appliances
Heavy furniture and major appliances are not routinely moved. Refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, large beds, entertainment centers and loaded cabinets will be cleaned around or beneath only where safely accessible.
Personnel do not disconnect gas, water, electrical or vent connections merely to clean behind an item.
Utilities & Safe Working Conditions
Adequate lighting, safe temperature, running water and electricity must be available when reasonably necessary for the requested work. Clients should identify known electrical, plumbing, structural, ventilation or other hazards.
Pests & Infestations
Active infestations involving bedbugs, fleas, lice, roaches, rodents, stinging insects or similar pests may require postponement until professionally addressed. Routine cleaning is not pest-control treatment.
Mold, Asbestos, Lead & Environmental Hazards
Routine cleaning does not include remediation of mold, asbestos, lead dust, sewage, hazardous building materials, chemical contamination or other regulated environmental hazards. Professional assessment or remediation may be required before cleaning resumes.
Hoarding, Extreme Soil & Smoke Residue
Excessive clutter, blocked pathways, decomposition, heavy nicotine residue, severe grease, significant waste accumulation or conditions substantially beyond ordinary cleaning require separate evaluation. We may revise the scope, require preparatory work, quote specialty service or decline work outside our capabilities.
Windows & Glass
Window service is limited to safely accessible components included in the agreed scope. Exterior windows, screens, tracks, storm windows, hard-water restoration, paint removal, high glass and ladder-intensive work may require separate pricing or be excluded.
Natural Stone, Delicate & Unsealed Surfaces
Clients should disclose natural stone, specialty metals, unsealed wood, antique finishes, waxed floors, hand-painted surfaces, specialty coatings, luxury materials and manufacturer-specific care requirements. We may decline treatment where the safe method is uncertain.
Trash, Recycling & Disposal
Routine trash and recycling are included only where specified. Excessive volume, bulk items, construction debris, hazardous waste, liquids, sharps, chemicals, electronics, medical waste and regulated materials are excluded unless specifically authorized and legally serviceable.
Photography & Service Documentation
We may photograph or otherwise document relevant property conditions, completed work, damage concerns, access issues, unusual conditions or scope changes for estimates, quality control, safety, insurance, dispute response or service records.
Identifiable interior photographs will not be used publicly for advertising without separate permission.
Respectful Workplace & Client Conduct
Threats, harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, intimidation, deliberate unsafe conduct or abusive treatment of personnel may result in immediate suspension or termination of service. The same professional standard applies to our personnel.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Unsafe Work
Personnel may stop, decline or leave work when they reasonably encounter an undisclosed condition presenting a health, safety, legal, security or property risk. When practicable, management will explain what must change before service can resume.
Termination of Future Service
We may discontinue future service for nonpayment, repeated lockouts or late cancellations, unsafe conditions, abusive conduct, material misrepresentation of scope or legitimate operational reasons.
Ending future service does not create a charge for unscheduled future cleanings.
Cleaning Standards & Scope of Work
The exact scope for each visit is established by the accepted estimate, work order, recurring-service record or authorized change.
Standard / Maintenance Cleaning
Typical maintenance service may include:
- Dusting accessible surfaces, furniture and windowsills
- Cleaning mirrors and accessible glass
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs
- Sweeping and mopping hard floors
- Cleaning kitchen counters, sinks, faucets and backsplash
- Wiping cabinet fronts and appliance exteriors
- Cleaning stovetop surfaces
- Cleaning bathroom sinks, counters, mirrors and toilets
- Cleaning tubs, showers and accessible fixtures
- Cleaning reachable touchpoints, handles and doorknobs
- Emptying ordinary trash and recycling where included
Initial Reset / First-Time Cleaning
The Initial Reset is designed to establish a maintainable baseline and generally receives additional time and detail.
Depending upon the agreed scope, additional attention may be given to baseboards, buildup, accessible edges, cabinet fronts, appliance exteriors, bathrooms, interior windows and windowsills, doors, trim, reachable fixtures and other areas identified during the estimate.
Deep Cleaning
Deep cleaning addresses accumulated soil and detail beyond routine maintenance. The accepted scope identifies priority rooms and tasks.
Deep cleaning does not automatically include appliance interiors, dishes, laundry, exterior windows, heavy furniture movement, hazardous waste, restoration, post-construction debris or biohazard work unless expressly included.
Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
Move-in/move-out cleaning is intended primarily for substantially vacant properties and may include detailed surfaces, specified cabinet/drawer interiors, closet shelving, baseboards, accessible doors and trim, appliance exteriors, bathrooms, floors and interior windows/windowsills.
Interior appliances, heavy debris, adhesive removal, paint, construction residue and exterior windows should be specifically identified in the scope.
Kitchens
Standard kitchen work generally includes accessible counters, sink and faucet, backsplash, cabinet fronts, appliance exteriors, stovetop surface, accessible table surfaces and floors.
Specialty degreasing, interior appliances, dishes, cabinet interiors, pantry organization and excessive food or waste removal are additional unless expressly included.
Ovens & Ranges
Exterior oven and range surfaces are ordinary kitchen work when included. Interior oven cleaning is an add-on service.
Heavy carbonization, burned-on residue, damaged coatings, fused foil or restoration-level conditions may require additional evaluation. Permanent staining or damage cannot be guaranteed removable.
Refrigerators
Exterior refrigerator cleaning is ordinary kitchen work when included. Interior refrigerator cleaning is an add-on service unless expressly included.
Clients should remove or identify food to be discarded. We do not make judgment calls about discarding usable food without authorization. Spoiled-food cleanouts, heavy leakage, biological contamination or significant odor remediation may be separately priced.
Dishes
Routine dishwashing is not included unless expressly added. A small incidental number of items may be moved or rinsed as reasonably necessary to access a sink or counter.
Significant dishwashing, accumulated dishes, pots and pans, or dishwasher loading/unloading may be separately priced.
Cabinets & Drawers
Cabinet and drawer exteriors may be cleaned within the applicable scope. Interiors are excluded unless specifically included, such as during an approved move-in/move-out service or add-on.
Laundry & Bed Linens
Changing bed linens is an optional service when clean replacement linens are provided and the bed is reasonably accessible.
Washing, drying, folding or putting away laundry is a separate service and depends upon available machines, time, fabric-care instructions and client authorization.
Bathrooms
Typical bathroom service includes toilets, sinks, faucets, counters, mirrors, tubs, showers, accessible fixtures, exterior cabinetry, touchpoints and floors.
Severe mineral deposits, heavy scale, mold remediation, damaged grout or caulk, rust, permanent staining and restoration-level conditions may require additional service or may not be fully correctable through cleaning.
Floors
Floors are vacuumed, swept and/or mopped according to the agreed scope and reasonable surface-care practices. Refinishing, waxing, stripping, polishing, carpet extraction, grout restoration and specialty floor restoration are excluded unless separately quoted.
Post-Construction Cleaning
Post-construction cleaning is separately scoped because fine dust, labels, adhesives, caulk, paint, grout haze, debris and repeated dust settling can require additional labor and specialized methods.
Contractors should remove bulk construction debris. We do not scrape delicate surfaces where damage is reasonably likely.
Commercial Offices
Commercial office service may include dusting accessible cleared surfaces, vacuuming, hard-floor care, ordinary trash, touchpoints, interior glass, common areas and other agreed tasks.
Desks covered with papers or sensitive materials will generally be cleaned around unless the client establishes a clear-desk protocol.
Commercial Workstations & Confidential Material
Personnel avoid disturbing files, paperwork, personal items and confidential records. Clients should secure sensitive documents and identify restricted areas.
Cleaning personnel do not organize files or determine which documents should be discarded.
Commercial Kitchens & Breakrooms
Typical service may include counters, sinks, tables, appliance exteriors, specified microwave cleaning, cabinet fronts, floors and trash.
Employee dishes, refrigerator interiors, food disposal, pantry organization and appliance deep cleaning are separate unless expressly included.
Commercial Restrooms
Typical service may include toilets and urinals, sinks, faucets, counters, mirrors, specified partitions, dispensers, touchpoints, floors and trash.
Restocking is performed when included and supplies are available. Plumbing, drain clearing and maintenance repairs are excluded.
Commercial Consumable Supplies
Unless a proposal states otherwise, the client supplies toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, sanitary products, trash liners and other facility consumables.
If The Weaver Standard procures or supplies consumables, product, handling, delivery or restocking charges may apply.
Secure & Restricted Commercial Areas
Clients must identify restricted rooms, laboratories, server rooms, cash-handling areas, records rooms, controlled-substance areas and other sensitive locations. We service only areas for which authorized access and appropriate procedures have been provided.
Commercial Electronics & Equipment
We provide only exterior or light cleaning of office electronics and equipment unless specifically trained and authorized for a particular item. Personnel do not open computers, servers, printers, machinery, medical equipment or other devices.
Bloodborne Pathogens & Bodily Fluids
Blood, potentially infectious human bodily fluids, sharps, needles, medical waste and regulated biohazard conditions are not part of routine cleaning.
When a condition falls within The Weaver Standard’s approved capabilities, separately authorized service may involve area isolation, appropriate PPE, approved disinfection procedures, controlled handling, documentation and lawful disposal.
Conditions outside our training, equipment, procedures or lawful disposal capabilities will be declined or referred to an appropriately qualified provider.
Sharps & Needles
Personnel must not place their hands into containers or areas where hidden sharps are reasonably suspected. Needles and sharps require appropriate handling procedures and an approved sharps container. Discovery during ordinary cleaning triggers a stop-and-notify response.
Excluded or Separately Evaluated Conditions
Examples include:
- Sewage or large-scale human waste
- Decomposition or trauma scenes
- Hoarding remediation
- Illicit-drug contamination
- Asbestos or lead-dust remediation
- Significant mold remediation
- Chemical spills or unknown powders
- Pest-control treatment
- Fire or smoke restoration
- Large-scale regulated biohazard remediation
Payment, Cancellation, Refund & Dispute Policy
Straightforward payment choices and clearly defined procedures for cancellations, schedule changes, refunds and payment disputes.
Payment Methods
Accepted methods may include secure card or bank payment, electronic invoice/payment link and other payment methods approved by The Weaver Standard. Available methods may vary by account or service.
Invoice / Payment-Link Option
Clients who prefer not to maintain a payment method on file may receive an invoice or secure payment link by email or another approved electronic method and initiate payment themselves.
Optional Payment Method on File
A client may separately authorize our payment processor to securely retain an eligible payment method for future charges.
This option is voluntary unless a separately disclosed service arrangement expressly requires otherwise. The Weaver Standard does not need to retain a client’s full payment-card number in ordinary business records when the payment processor securely handles that information.
Invoices & Payment Due Dates
Invoices are due according to the due date stated on the invoice, estimate or approved account terms. Approved commercial accounts may receive separately established written payment terms.
Past-Due Accounts
The Weaver Standard may send payment reminders and suspend future service while an undisputed balance remains past due.
Any applicable late charge will be disclosed and applied only to the extent permitted by law.
Failed, Returned or Canceled Payments
A declined card, failed bank debit, returned check, reversed transfer or canceled payment does not eliminate the legitimate underlying balance.
Any returned-payment or processor-related fee charged to the client must be properly disclosed and permitted by applicable law.
Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling
Clients may discontinue recurring residential service at any time. The following applies only to an individual appointment already reserved.
- More than 48 hours before service: No cancellation fee.
- 24–48 hours before service: Up to 50% of the scheduled service may apply.
- Less than 24 hours / same-day cancellation: Up to 100% of the scheduled service may apply.
Management may reduce or waive a cancellation charge for emergencies, severe weather, illness, hardship or other circumstances at its discretion.
Lockouts / No Access
If a team arrives as scheduled but cannot enter because authorized access was not provided, a key or code is unavailable, building personnel deny access or the client is absent when their presence was required, the visit may be charged up to the amount applicable to a same-day cancellation.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the client before the team leaves.
Schedule Changes by The Weaver Standard
If we must reschedule because of weather, unsafe roads, illness, staffing emergency, equipment failure, public emergency or another operational necessity, the client will not be charged a cancellation fee for our schedule change.
Recurring Service & Skipped Visits
Recurring prices reflect the expected service interval. A skipped or substantially delayed visit may create additional buildup, and the next visit may therefore be repriced based upon the actual work required.
If the work is materially less than anticipated, pricing may also be adjusted downward where appropriate.
24-Hour Service Assurance
Clients should report a material cleaning concern within 24 hours of service, preferably with photographs or a clear description of the affected area.
We will evaluate the concern promptly. When appropriate, our primary remedy is a reasonable opportunity to return and correct the specific service deficiency at no additional charge.
Re-Performance, Credits & Refunds
Because cleaning is a service that can often be corrected, re-performance is ordinarily the first remedy for a verified service deficiency.
A refund or credit may be offered when re-performance is impractical, unsuccessful, inappropriate or otherwise approved by management. Approved electronic refunds should ordinarily be returned through the original payment channel when reasonably possible.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
A client who believes a charge is incorrect is encouraged to contact The Weaver Standard promptly so that we can investigate. Nothing in this policy prevents a client from exercising lawful cardholder or banking rights.
If a payment dispute is filed, we may provide relevant records to the payment processor, financial institution, card network or other authorized party as reasonably necessary to respond.
Documentation Used in Payment Disputes
Relevant documentation may include:
- Accepted estimates and service scopes
- Policy acknowledgments
- Appointment and service records
- Invoices and payment authorizations
- Client communications
- Relevant service photographs
- Access records
- Scope-change approvals
- Service notes and re-clean offers
- Evidence that the agreed service was performed or made available
Commercial Account Terms
Approved commercial accounts may have purchase-order, deposit, retainer, recurring-invoice, net-payment or other written billing terms. A specific written commercial term controls where it expressly differs from this general policy.
Privacy & Communications Policy
How The Weaver Standard handles customer information, service records, payment information, website information and communications.
Information We Collect
We may collect information provided by clients or prospective clients, including name, email address, telephone number, service address, billing information, requested services, property details, access instructions, scheduling preferences, communications, estimate information and photographs voluntarily provided.

We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, card brand and last digits, billing details and other records needed for accounting, refunds, fraud prevention and payment-dispute response.

Clients may receive transactional communications concerning estimates, appointments, arrival timing, schedule changes, invoices, receipts, service concerns, access issues, policy updates and other matters reasonably related to requested or existing services.

Service-related messages are distinguished from promotional marketing where required. Consent to receive promotional marketing texts is not treated as a condition of purchasing ordinary cleaning service. Applicable opt-out requests will be honored.
Email Marketing
Marketing emails or newsletters are handled in accordance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Clients may continue to receive necessary transactional communications after opting out of promotional marketing.
Photographs & Service Documentation
We may create photographs or documentation when reasonably necessary for estimates, quality control, safety, scope changes, damage documentation, insurance or dispute resolution.
Identifiable photographs of a client’s interior will not be used for public advertising or social media without separate permission.

The Weaver Standard does not intend to sell customer personal information as a standalone business practice. If future technology or advertising practices create a legally defined sale or sharing activity, this policy and any required consumer choices will be updated accordingly.
Access Credentials & Security Information
Keys, codes, alarm instructions, access cards and similar information are used only as reasonably necessary for authorized access and service. Clients should promptly update us when credentials change.
Information Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of our operations. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Access to customer information should be limited to personnel and providers with a legitimate business need.
Record Retention
Customer and transaction records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service history, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute resolution, legal compliance, safety and legitimate business purposes.
Policy acknowledgments and the specific policy version accepted should be retained so that prior transactions can be accurately documented.
